Chapter 7 — The Complete Assembly

The previous two chapters described the Reactor and the Component parts separately. This chapter assembles them into the complete Belluaire Component — the whole system as it is built and as it operates.

The Cross-Section

A cross-section through the Belluaire Component reveals its vertical structure. The Platform divides the system into two levels.

Above the Platform sit the active elements. The Resonator is suspended on the Pedestal, with the Load at its crown comprising the Magnetic Interface and the Load Bearing Mechanism. Where the Altar is active, the Source coils are housed within it, flanking the Resonator’s lower section — this is the Source. The Collector hovers over the Load on its own support, loosely coupled to the Magnetic Interface without touching it. The Tunnel also runs along the Platform connecting the rooms.

Below the Platform, each Pedestal descends through its hole into its individual chamber, where the Tuning Mechanism sits at the bottom, connected to the Pedestal and responsible for setting its frequency.

Above the whole assembly, the Walls enclose the resonant volume and the Dome caps it, concentrating the acoustic field at the focal point where the Source is positioned.

The Assembly Sequence

Building a Belluaire Component proceeds in a defined order.

The Platform is constructed first, pierced with one hole per Reactor, and a chamber is built beneath each hole to house the Tuning Mechanism. A Tuning Mechanism is then seated at the bottom of each chamber. An Altar is seated in each Platform hole. Each Pedestal is then lowered through its Altar and into the chamber beneath, connecting to the Tuning Mechanism at the bottom. Each Resonator is then lowered onto its Pedestal from above — the Pedestal passes through the hole at the top of the Resonator, and the matching profiles lock the two together. The Load Bearing Mechanism then fastens the Pedestal, the Resonator, and the Load into a single body, with the Magnetic Interface sitting at the crown.

The Altar of one Reactor is the active configuration — the Source coils are housed within it, designating that Reactor the Infrasonic Reactor +Source. The other Reactors carry passive Altars. A Collector is then positioned over each Load, hovering over the Magnetic Interface on its own support fastened to the Wall or the Platform.

The Walls enclose the volume and the Dome caps it, with the Source positioned at the Dome’s focal point. Finally, each Tuning Mechanism adjusts its Pedestal until every Reactor is at the key signature, and the electronic control loop holds them there continuously.

The Arrangement

Each Reactor is housed under its own Dome and enclosed by its own Walls, with its own Platform and its own chamber below. The Tunnel connects each room to the others, running on the Platform with a semi-circular ceiling. Each room has its own resonant field, and the Tunnel carries the acoustic field between the rooms, allowing the Source to drive the others through the connecting passages.

The Identity of the Reactors

In both arrangements, every Reactor operates at the same key frequency. This is the likeness that makes the system work — not that they are physical copies of one another, but that they are all designed to resonate at the same frequency. The Source is coupled to one of them, making it the Infrasonic Reactor +Source, but no Reactor is fundamentally different from another.

This identity has practical consequences. The Component scales by adding Reactors, each designed for the same key frequency. A larger installation uses more Reactors, not a larger or more complex central device. The Source drives one Reactor; that Reactor, through the activated medium, triggers all the others into oscillation — the Pedestal’s spring response under gravity amplifies each —; each Collector converts its own Reactor’s motion to electricity.

The aggregate output is the sum of every Collector’s output. The Source’s input does not scale with the number of Reactors, within the spatial limit of the field’s effective range.

The Component as a Whole

The complete Belluaire Component is one +Source driving an array of one or more additional Reactors, each supported by its own Collector, all resting on a shared Platform enclosed by Walls and capped by a Dome — or one Dome and one set of Walls per room in the enclosed arrangement, with a Tunnel connecting the rooms. All Reactors share the same key frequency. All Component parts exist to enable them to function. The Component couples to the activated medium and the gravitational field, concentrates and amplifies the energy at each Resonator, and converts the resulting oscillation to electricity at each Collector.
